Chilled out summer tune!!
When tasked to create a remix of Hawke’s Inside Job, Tal M Klein created a masterpiece that is both unique and a compliment to the original song.
Taking a cue from my South African roots, he must have had one ear on Todd Terje’s rework of Paul Simon’s Diamonds on the Souls of Her Shoes when he hit the studio.
The result is a dubbed out percussion workout that is one of my favorite remixes. Thanks a million Tal!!
The original song is a collaboration with the talented San Francisco musician David Denny who was in the Steve Miller Band in the ’70s. David plays guitar and sings on ‘Inside Job’.
