You are listening to one of the many tracks that I made for an installation at the Airtight Garage in the Sony Metreon in San Francisco and Tokyo. This project was more complex than anything I had done before. I was asked to create 3 separate one hour soundtracks of original music that would play simultaneously in three different areas. The trick was to use my DJ and production skills to make sure that each recording was perfectly mixed with the others so that as people moved between the different zones, the music would morph between the different soundtracks. Kinda like DJing simultaneously on three turntables on three adjacent sound systems.
The music was never released on any physical format and could only be heard at the venue. Here, for the first time, are some of the tracks.
This one is called Ganguly.

you say it was never released ?i actually found a cd called “museo hypnotica one” at a store.it had a different mix of this song on it.
are there any other museo hypnotica cd’s out there ? two ? three? thanks for the high bitrate
now i remember …. i made a few hundred copies to sell at The Metreon, but messed up the continuous mix by accidently putting 2 secs silence between the songs. i landed up trashing the whole batch. a few must have slipped out before i found the error.
i also didn’t do a great job naming the songs. the 10 songs within each soundtrack all had the same names. so there is ganguly (badlands), ganguly (citadel) and ganguly (entrance).
i plan to post only my favorite mixes here.
always wondered why they didnt show up on any of your discogs.some of your best work in my opinion.love that cover art.looking forward to more resurrections.
hey gavin, when was museo hypnotica produced ?
i was just looking over the cd case and couldn’t find a date.
ermmmm …. i think made it in 1997-1998 ….
I get a DVD name “mora lina” whwrw i get those songs. But you say the songs never released. How than can be possible?
Where did you get the DVD? Seems to me that someone stole the song.
