FACT: This remix was done for Bay Area singer/songwriter Kenon Chen, and was released on limited edition 12″ vinyl in 2002. Kenon also supplied vocals for the song “The Hardest Kiss” on the Love Won Another LP.
FACT: Today is 09/09/09 and 9 is my lucky number. What happened at 9:09am? A guy shows up to clean the heating ducts in the house. I recognized his accent. He is Israeli. He walks up to the door and , when seeing that the mezuzah on my front door is attached inappropriately, he offers to help me place it correctly. In Ancient Egypt, the Jews marked there doors with blood to ward off evil. With hammer in hand, together we reattach the mezuzah 2/3 up the doorpost leaning in to the house. This will seal the house from harm.
What happened at 9:09pm? I bought a piece of art made by Merkely??? for my Canadian friend at the Project One Gallery.
The next time I have a day as lucky as this I will be 131 years old.
