This song from the album +++ started as a cover version of a classic ’80 track but then corroded into something altogether original.
This is one moody bastard that may be reminiscent of something you’ve heard before. What does it sound like? A splash of New Order, a slice of M83 and a hint of the Thomson Twins.
Listen closely to the the distant smokey and heavily reverbed out vocals and you’ll hear it.
Can you tell me what it is?
Recorded in San Diego, with additional instrumentation from Rahmeen Matthew, Ray Matthews and Kip Forde, this is one has been known to make a boy cry.
