Having released music on every format (tape, vinyl, cd, mp3) and through every possible channel (major, independent, online, trunk of the car), I wanted to create a place to document my music catalog and share it with you.
So here it is.
I will be posting music old and new. Also videos and other stuff.
Sometimes I will include remixes that I have done for others or remixes that others have been done for me.
Sometimes I will include DJ mixes.
There will be something new every week.
Love won another!!

An eye for an eye! Scott Hardkiss and Q-Burn trade mixes on this fantastic single from the album "Technicolor Dreamer." You can find out more
Q-Burn's Abstract Message has a song called "Chainsaw" which doesn't sound like one. Pleasant mid-tempo balaeric vibes all round. Check out his blog
Hey Gavin, I think we’ve met before through mutual friends….. the obvious being Justin Young, since we were just talking about you! I used to work at Windham Hill with Bob D and Pat from 6 Degrees. Haven’t spoken to them in a long while. I’m curious how you enjoyed the experience with them? Also used to do a lot of mastering for Chris at Om.
I’m back to indie producing and am working on a project with Brain (drummer from Primus, Guns N Roses, Tom Waits) doing Prince meets Radiohead meets Massive Attack electronica recording. The exec producer is opening the door for us to have a piece or two remixed and possibly release a vinyl single in October… full release out in Feb 2010. Justin and I thought you might be interested to check it out. Also, we’re talking to Justin about setting up a huge release party in SF Oct 24. Would love to have you involved.
I’ll be talking to Justin more about it, too.

oops, i thought this was a personal email section… sorry!
so did i, except a few pages-and-the-1995-mix ago. my first reaction was, “ok, so i’m not completely…” but then i realized that the negative impliconsecationsquences were keeping pace with my relief..
I started listening to your mixtapes in the mid 90’s and you were always my favorite dj on the scene. You helped make me realize that experimental music gives us an endless palet for sound. I went on to discover Bruce Haack and even produced a documentary about him. It’s been a six year journey now and I couldn’t be happier with my involvment in experimental music. Just the other day I looked up you and my other favorite deejay, Darkhorse, and was so excited to listen to everything I’ve missed over the years. Some of your mixes are beautiful timeless masterpieces and I think you, like Bruce, will gain more recognition as a pioneer as time goes on. Thank you Gavin
thanks for the kind words philip …. i was not familiar with bruce haak until i read your post …. quite an impressive dude.
i’d be interested in watching the documentary …. is it online anywhere?

I have made a mix of your song and entered it into a contest, yet I would just like to thank you for inspiring me to play and mix more. Your stuff is great and I just hope you enjoy the mix.
Best wishes and thank you,
